Silent Auction and Benefit Dinner

The Silent Auction and Benefit Dinner held on May 10th was a great success. We sold handicrafts from Madagascar at the silent auction as well as items donated by local artisans such as wooden pens, home made jewelry, wreaths, wood turned items, and an oil painting. We had about 125 people come and raised around $5500.00.

The meal was catered by Julia Graham and her Hospitality Class from our local high school, GDHS. We had beautiful harp music by Ian Hepburn to accompany our evening, and a presentation about the Madagascar School Project.
